From white page to live portfolio - in one 3-hour session

You’ve done the work. Maybe client projects, maybe side projects, maybe course work you’re proud of. Now you need a portfolio that explains it properly and gives people a reason to take you seriously.

This live, online workshop shows you how to design and publish a focused, professional portfolio site using Figma Sites. No code. No handoff. No waiting.

You’ll design a clean, responsive portfolio with:

  • A clear personal bio that sounds like you
  • One strong portfolio project, written and structured with intent
  • A repeatable layout that works on mobile first, and scales properly to desktop

Not a cluttered gallery of screenshots - an intentional story that shows who you are and why your work matters.

The session at a glance:

In just 3 hours, we’ll take you from blank canvas to live, working site.

You’ll:

  • Design a portfolio layout that highlights your strengths, not just your tools
  • Write your bio and a single portfolio project using your AI of choice - with clear prompts and real examples
  • Learn how to structure a project so it shows your thinking, not just the final screens
  • Create and apply styles for consistency and polish
  • Build sections, navigation and hierarchy that guide the reader
  • Add lightweight interactions like hover states, marquees, lightbox overlays and parallax effects - all without code
  • Publish and update your site with confidence

If you don’t have a project yet, that’s fine. I’ll demo using a complete example you can adapt and publish as your own when you build real work.

Taught by Clementine, founder of f◼️gmania and designer of things bold, unexpected and useful.

You’ll leave with a live portfolio you can share the same day - and a repeatable workflow for updating it as your work evolves.

Her passion for the field is palpable - she led the course with a great sense of humour, and was more than happy to tailor the delivery of different topics based on the interests of those of us in the class. Cannot recommend Clementine as a course lecturer highly enough!"
